Visit to Kenya Aeronautical College by the Board Chairman of AeroTechnics Ltd
Yesterday, on November 10th, 2024, I had the privilege of visiting Kenya Aeronautical College to speak with students about the rewarding career of aircraft maintenance engineering. The campus buzzed with the energy and enthusiasm of the next generation of aviation professionals, eager to learn and grow.
Throughout our discussions, we delved into the intricate world of aircraft maintenance, highlighting the crucial skills and knowledge required to excel in this field. The students were not only attentive but also deeply engaged, asking insightful questions and sharing their aspirations. The conversations were a reminder of the incredible potential these young minds hold.
Amidst the lively discussions, we also took some memorable pictures, capturing the essence of the day. These moments are a testament to the passion and dedication of the students, who are on the brink of shaping the future of aviation.
As I stood before these bright young individuals, I was reminded of my favorite quote: “True legacy is in people! Not in projects, programs, and buildings. Focus on someone today & mentor them to be better than yourself. That will be your true legacy.”
This quote resonates deeply with the purpose of my visit. It’s not about the accolades or the tangible achievements, but the impact we make on others. By mentoring and guiding these students, we help cultivate their talents and dreams, creating a ripple effect that will transcend generations.
In sharing my experiences and knowledge, I hope to inspire these future engineers to strive for excellence and never settle for mediocrity. The aviation industry is ever-evolving, and it is their innovation and determination that will drive it forward.
As we concluded the session, I felt a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to fostering the growth of these remarkable individuals. Together, we can build a legacy that truly matters—one that is etched in the hearts and minds of people.
